to the Pioneer Varsity Girls Golf Team on their 1st place finish at the RGVGCA Golf Invitational at Tierra Santa Golf Course in Weslaco this past weekend. The girls were led by Joslyn Lopez, 2nd place individual and Kaylee Cruz, 3rd place individual. Other members of the team include Mariela Elizondo and Gabriela Astorga. The girls played in very windy conditions on Saturday to finish 28 strokes ahead of the field.
