Bio - I have been with the district since 1996. 3 years coaching football, soccer, track and field at B.L. Gray. 14 years at Sharyland High School as the offensive line coach, eventually becoming the offensive coordinator for the Rattlers. In 2014, moved to Pioneer to help open the football program and the school. Spent two years as the Asst. Head Football Coach/Offensive Coordinator. Relieved from football in 2016, and coached basketball for Rene Gonzalez and the Diamondbacks. Coached girls track and field for Sandy Guerrero and now head coach Claudia Garza. Currently on a three straight State Track Meet appearances with Malaya Pistokache (Shot Put 2017) and now Daisy Monie (Discus 2018-2019). Currently coaching freshman football for the Diamondbacks, yet still coaching basketball and track and field. In the classroom, I teach English III and IV. I am also ESL certified. This is will be my sixth year at Pioneer.
