Bio - My name is Laura Cavazos and I am entering my 9th year teaching and coaching. I was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley and grew up playing sports. My most memorable college experience was winning the SWAC Conference and making it to the NCAA Tournament in 2006. I graduated from college in 2007 and became the Assistant Volleyball Coach at the University of Pan American. After 2 years at UTPA, I joined the Sharyland ISD family and began my teaching career.
