Bio - I was born in Mitchell South Dakota and lived the first 13 years of my life in the Midwest. My father moved the family to Mission Texas to be the Head Football Coach At Mission High. I played football, basketball, track, baseball, and golf in high school. I received a football scholarship to Rice University and eventually transferred to Texas State where I played for two years.
Upon graduation I started my coaching career at Shary land High School where I coached football and was the Head Golf Coach. I left to go back to my Alma Mater and become the Head Football Coach At Mission High. I spent seven years there as the Head Coach and Athletic Coordinator. I returned to Sharyland in 2008 and was named the Special Teams Coordinator and Head Track Coach.In 2014 I moved to Sharyland Pioneer High as the new Athletic Coordinator Head Track Coach. I took over the football program in 2018 where we played an epic football playoff game against Port La Vaca Calhoun.
I have a great coaching family. My wife Kristie has been part of my life for over 30 years and has been a blessing in my life as a coach. I have four great children. Jordan is currently a coach at Pioneer High School. Matthew is a senior at Texas A and M. Ethan is a senior at Pioneer and excels in three sports. My youngest Kyra is six years old and has been a blessing in our families life.
I have worked in the Sharyland School District for 18 years and there is no better place to work than here at SISD.
