Bio -Coach Alex Lopez attended the Sharyland ISD school district since elementary and graduated from Sharyland High School in 1993. He then received his degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas-Pan American. He started his teaching and coaching career at Sharyland High School and served as assistant coach for the boys soccer team. He then became head coach at Pioneer High School and has been at then helm since the schools inception. Coach Lopez is happily married to Noemi Lopez , a Jessie Jensen Elementary School Teacher, and has two boys named AJ and Diego who attend the Sharyland ISD school District. Coach Alex Lopez is brother to JJ Lopez, Pioneer Girls Soccer Head Coach and Jessica Haines Pioneer assistant girls soccer coach.
